Due to all of the crazy weather in California this year, our initial plans that had brought my husband and me on our national park quest to the Central Valley of California changed so many times! Since everything was super unpredictable with parks opening & closing, and conditions shifting continually as storm after storm hammered Central California, we decided to book a tour to salvage this part of the trip.HUGE THANK YOU to Alexis and Authentic Adventures Central California for salvaging our California adventure. We both met not only a new friend in Alexis, but also want to sing the praises of Authentic Adventures Central California for their professional, knowledgeable, and personally tailored truly authentic adventures into this spectacular part of the country.

Had fun exploring Kings Canyon National Park. The majestic Sequoias and breathtaking views of the Sierras were simply mesmerizing. We also encountered a big black bear on one of our hikes, which was amazing! Baloo behaved like a good boy and didn’t charge at us. Thank you @authenticadventurescencal for this awesome tour!

I had an absolute blast and highly recommend Authentic Adventures. Alexis was super accommodating. I described to her what I would consider the perfect hike and she promptly returned several options. After a few days of dialing in details such as date, food, and transportation, we were off. Alexis kept us on path with her trail app that monitored location, distance hiked, among other things. I don’t know how to relate cost as I have never done this before, but I will say it worked for me and having someone like Alexis run the show was priceless.
